History

Pastor Nyiko D Mashaba is the Founder and Senior Pastor at In Christ Ministries. Ps Mashaba is a graduate of the Heritage of Faith Bible Institute and Leadership Academy, an off shoot of the internationally renowned Jerry Savelle Ministries in South Africa. In Christ Ministries is a young Word-Based Ministry situated in the Roodepoort suburb of Cosmo City, north-west of Randburg. Even though the history of the ministry itself goes back many years, the vision came to fruition only a few years ago.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

In Christ Fellowship is a Bible-based Church with the following key beliefs.

We believe:

1. In a triune God, consisting of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.
2. That Jesus Christ is the sinless Son of God and that He appeared in human form, was crucified, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and is mow exalted at the right hand of the Father.
3. That the Bible is the inspired Word of God in its original text and is the final authority on matters of faith and conduct.
4. In the universal sinfulness and guilt of man, making him subject to God’s judgement.
5. In the salvation of the individual by the grace of God alone, through repentance and faith in Christ Jesus, on the grounds of His merit and death.
6. That all believers are indwelt, led and gifted by the Holy Spirit for areas of ministry.
7. That all believers form part of the universal church which is committed by the Lord’s command to the spreading of the good news of salvation through Christ.
8. That believers are to be baptized after conversion as an outward sign of their faith in Christ.
9. That Christians should regularly meet and participate in the fellowship, prayer, teaching and communion services of the church.
10. In the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory and the physical resurrection of all believers before the judgement of the world.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved.
2. To teach the Word of God to the saved.
3. To empower believers to live a lifestyle that is in keeping with the word of God.
4. To encourage believers to operate in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
5. To train people to fulfill their calling in Jesus Christ.
6. To establish fellowships and ministries that are aimed at giving Christian instruction and education to children, youths and adults as well as the disadvantaged.
7. To provide care facilities for widows, orphans, the aged, alcohol and drug addicts, victims of abuse and all others that are in need.
